A/C tuneup completed. Found unit low on R410a refrigerant due to leak on schrader valves and weak dual capacitor. Replaced schrader valves and charged unit.
Upon arrival found compressor did not start up. Diagnostic performed and found internal windings were stuck, help kick start the compressor by installing a Hard Start kit but customer declined any work at this moment before going through with their home warranty. Uninstalled hard start and compressor were running at this time.
Found bad dual capacitor and no hardstart kit. Replaced dual capacitor and installed a hardstart kit. Also signed up for super hero club.
Quoted new Lennox High Efficiency single stage system. All of the other contractors are willing to do it without a permit.
Performed diagnostic on a Goodman system and found system was low on refrigerant. Leak check system and found no leaks at this time, injected ultra violet dye to perform leak search in two weeks. Added 4.2 lbs of R-22 refrigerant to system spec. System is cooling at this time, will reschedule in two weeks for leak search and A/C maintenance. Customer signing on to superhero club membership.
Repaired 12â€ duct trunk line off back of supply plenum. Saw no other loose or broken ducts. Hung new 14x8 register in living room.
Checked a/c operations and refrigerant level. System has been converted to R422B refrigerant. Refrigerant level is ok. System is working the best it can with a 20 degrees temperature split.
Performed last visit A/C tune up on a Lennox system. All electrical wires and components, condensation drain lines, refrigerant level are within manufacturers spec, outdoor coil is washed clean and system is operating properly. Ordering High quality case of twelves filters and will be shipped directly To customer in 3-5 business daysRenewing Superhero club membership today and will have two more visits left. Will email customer the invoices.
System had sent email for error code 292. Checked blower and system was running fine and customer has had no issues with system. Mated plugs and added dielectric gel to them. Signed up on club.
Quoted multi-stage gas/electric Lennox, trane, goodman with Honeywell 2-zone control board. Customer will be gathering other estimates before making final decision
