He was great at explaining what was going on with our system and even took pictures to show and make it easier for us to understand what needed to be done and why. Performed furnace tuneup on a Goodman furnace. Found capacitor reading below manufacture specifications. Replaced capacitor. Found gas valve out of manufacture specifications. Gas valve wonâ€™t go lower than 5wc. Manufacture recommened specifications is 3.5 wc. recommended replacing. Replaced merv13 filter for homeowner. System is operational at this time.
Went over relocating options. Replaced thermostat
Quoted cusotmer for new 4.ton condenser & coil And 50gal bradford white water heater. Customer will need to do jobs separately due to financing options/decline. Possibly will do water heater first and he prefers install on Mondays.
Found that heating was working but variable speed blower was working at high speed. Y1 and Y2 had 4 and 3.3 volts at the board and fan wouldnâ€™t shut off even when tstat was turned off. Disconnected wires from control board and system runs as it should now. Thermostat is bad. Customer wants to go over replacement options. Will have office call to set appt. may want to move system from tight closet.
Preformed furnace tuneup on a Coleman system unit has no surge protector no other issues or concerns at this time system is operational
Found that there is a cold water bypass issue in home. Turned water inlet off at water heater and then hot water only at shower and still had water leaking out. Will need plumber out to take care of issue before putting recirculating pump on. We call Boyd plumbing.

Went over insulation and ductwork estimate.
Performed diagnostic on water heater. Found spark ignition with about 2-3â€ of insulation burned off and burners in bad shape. Called manufacturer and it has a recall on it. They will send out their own company to look at it and replace.
Performed diagnosis on Payne package unit. Found that the disconnect box on unit has loose connection on the line 2 connector. This may be the reason for intermittent issues. May be losing main voltage to unit every once in awhile. Will need to be replaced. Found issue while closing box when unit is running and then it lost power. Jiggled L2 wire and system would lose power to unit.
